These BlackTree terms set out the 7 key rules that apply to every order placed on myblacktree.com.

⚠️ Order Confirmation, Cancellation & Chargeback Policy (Important)

Once an order is successfully placed and payment is confirmed on myblacktree.com, the order enters procurement and fulfilment processing, which may include sourcing through authorised third-party vendors, logistics partners or established marketplaces. Such fulfilment (including third-party packaging, invoices or courier branding) shall be deemed valid and compliant performance of the order.

Any cancellation request raised after order confirmation but before dispatch shall NOT be eligible for refund, as procurement costs and operational commitments are already incurred.

Customers expressly acknowledge and agree that raising a payment gateway chargeback or bank dispute after order confirmation does not override this policy, and such disputes will be contested with documentary evidence, including proof of order confirmation, procurement initiation and shipping arrangements.

This policy applies uniformly to both domestic and international orders, irrespective of delivery timelines, customs clearance or third-party courier delays.

If the customer receives the product and claims any issue relating to damage, defect, mismatch or discrepancy, such claim shall be considered valid only if:

a clear and continuous unboxing video is recorded before opening the package, and
the issue is reported in writing within 24 hours of delivery to our official email ID (ops@myblacktree.com).

In the absence of a proper unboxing video and timely written communication, the order shall be deemed correct, accepted and fully delivered.

Any chargeback, bank dispute or payment reversal raised without complying with the above conditions — including disputes based on fulfilment source, packaging origin, delivery delay or post-delivery claims — shall be treated as invalid and will be contested with documentary and fulfilment evidence, except where legally mandated.

By placing an order on this website, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to these terms.

Terms of Purchase

1. Product Representation

All product images shown are for illustration purposes only. Actual products may vary in colour, finish, packaging or design due to manufacturing or vendor differences. Such variations do not qualify as a defect or misrepresentation.

2. Refund Policy

Refunds are not provided for concerns related to size, colour or design preferences, unless the error is directly attributable to the company.

Refunds for unfulfilled or cancelled orders will be issued by default to the company’s secure BlackTree Wallet (digital credit balance for future purchases on our website).

3. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are permitted only in cases of genuine issues with size, pattern or design. Customers must return the product in its original condition with complete packaging and bear the return shipping costs.

Once the product is received at our warehouse, it will undergo a quality verification check. Upon approval, customers will be notified by email/phone, and a replacement will be arranged.

A standard re-dispatch charge of ₹250/- applies for all exchanges.

4. Third-Party Branded Products & Customer Confirmation

For products sourced from third-party brands (not manufactured by BlackTree), availability may occasionally vary due to supplier constraints. In such cases, a product of the same brand and ordered size/specifications may be dispatched as a substitute.

As dispatch confirmation emails may sometimes contain only the order number without product details, customers are required to verify and confirm within 24 hours of receiving the tracking email whether the dispatched product corresponds to their order. Confirmation must be sent in writing to ops@myblacktree.com.

If any issue, variation or substitution is identified and reported within this 24-hour window, the company will hold the dispatch and initiate the appropriate refund or replacement process.

Please note: in the absence of such confirmation within the stipulated timeframe, the order will be deemed correct and accepted, and no refund/return claims will be entertained thereafter (except where legally required).

5. Drop-Shipping Orders

Certain products are sourced from manufacturers/vendors only after an order is placed (drop-shipping). Such orders may require an additional 15–20 business days compared to standard delivery timelines.

In rare cases, the supplier may face stock shortages or delays. Customers placing such orders acknowledge these risks and agree that fulfilment timelines may vary.

6. Cancellation & Refunds for Unfulfilled Orders

If the order cannot be fulfilled due to supplier or logistics constraints, or is cancelled by the customer within the allowable period, the paid amount will be refunded as per Section 2. Refunds processed to BlackTree Wallet may only be redeemed for future purchases from our website.

7. General Safeguard & Legal Acceptance

By placing an order on our website, the customer confirms that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

These conditions are designed to protect customers through transparent communication, while also safeguarding the company’s operational ability to deliver effectively.
